Great waves and a beach clean

Congratulations to Joe Caudwell, Surfers Against Sewage and all who came down for the beach clean at Grange Chine today. With great waves in the morning and gorgeous weather the afternoon saw 73 volunteers of all ages collect 57 bags of plastic gunk and just under half a tonne of rubbish collected. Great work everyone

Hurricane Katia brings a few waves to Shanklin

Hurricane Katia may have tracked north but it still delivered a few waves to us here on the Island. Last Sunday and Monday I got down to Shanklin capturing some of the action.

SAS Beach Clean – A Huge Success

Congratulations to the Surfers Against Sewage for another successful beach clean at Grange Chine. Saturday the 26th March saw glorious weather and a really good turn out by at least 48 volunteers to help with the beach clean. There was a really lovely vibe and 45 bags of litter and a huge chest freezer that wasa dragged about half a mile along the beach by a couple of lads. As the morning went on a small swell started to build and a few waves were to be had at Compton and enjoyed all weekend. Well done to Joe Caudwell and all who came along to help.
